The Truth That No One Will Tell You About Network Marketing

Thanks for stopping by again.

Consider two truths, the gist of which, can be heard often at Network Marketing meetings and trainings:

Network Marketing works. and if you just follow the system - any system –  you will definitely succeed.

The only way to fail in Network Marketing is to quit.

These are powerful words that, considering the massive income potential, makes network marketing very attractive to millions of people who join network marketing companies each year. The fact that many fail to experience the first statement, is the unfortunate reason that they quit, despite the promise of rewards. As they leave disillusioned, they often adopt extremely negative, and even vocal, views of Network Marketing in general, and, especially, of the people who presented the enticing picture that they had bought into, but failed to realize themselves. Often, they either become antagonistic to the people who had “conned” them, or blame themselves for not having filled the “trivial” requirements to make it work.

This is a shame.

The two statements above are indeed true, but only on condition that the individual is committed to his or her success to the point that the bumps in road don’t derail their efforts completely. Indeed, this is also, something that can be heard at our meetings. What we hear less of is that

The Secret to Success is Self Motivation.

This is the missing conviction that causes people to quit in disgust and despair, that almost no one talks about.
Self Motivation is that mysterious concoction of belief, confidence, positive expectations and creativity — a seeming abundance of physical, mental and emotional energy — that naturally propels us to our goals.-Richard Bliss Brooke in Mach II
Thats’s right: self motivation.
Self Motivation as opposed to External Motivation. Self motivation is powered by a person’s “why”. It’s the personal reason to do what you do.
And just to make it clear, self-motivation is a skill that can be learned and developed.

Self Motivation is a secret ingredient for success in every facet of life. Much more so for entrepreneurial endeavors, where there is no boss breathing down your neck and checking up on your performance. Thanks Jack for pointing out that it can be developed.
